On September 2, 2024, the 2024 South Korea China "Special Fertilizer" New Product and New Technology Hainan Exchange Conference was grandly held at the Songzhiguang Hotel in Changjiang, Hainan, by Genesis Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
In this conference, Professor Dou Zhihao, a researcher at Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Lin Sheng, a fruit and vegetable expert at Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Fu Chuanliang, a soil and fertilizer expert at Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Mr. Zhu Quankai, Chairman of Hainan Jindao Manor Ecological Agriculture Development Co., Ltd., Dr. Li Xin, a researcher at Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Professor Yang Yang, a researcher at Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Dr. Chen Ning, a plant nutrition expert at Qingdao Agricultural University in Shandong Province, Mr. Jin Zongshu, Chairman of Jiaisi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., Ms. Wang Yan, General Manager, and more than 40 distributors and agents from various parts of Hainan attended the conference.
At this meeting, everyone looked forward to the prospects of the Chinese agricultural inputs market, exchanged production and operation experience in previous years, discussed the bright future under the severe situation, further strengthened the tripartite cooperation between schools, enterprises, and farmers, and jointly discussed effective measures for the sustainable development of Chinese agriculture.

Mr. Jin Zongshu, Chairman of Shandong Jiaisi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the conference. Mr. Jin stated that Genesis Biotech is committed to creating a mutually beneficial win-win situation for enterprises, distributors, and farmers, enabling the realization of the social value of enterprises, the double harvest of distributors' interests and reputation, and allowing farmers to enjoy the efficiency and convenience brought by technological development.
Ms. Wang Yan, General Manager of Shandong Jiaisi Biotechnology Co., Ltd., delivered a speech at the conference. Mr. Wang believes that China's agriculture has shifted from an era where yield is king to an era where quality is king. Producers who still only focus on yield per mu will be eliminated in the surging tide. Only by grasping product quality can they have a wide range of expenses and abundant financial resources.
Researcher Dou Zhihao, Director of the Institute of Agricultural Product Processing Design at Hainan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, explained to the attendees the occurrence patterns and prevention methods of major pests and diseases in Hainan's economic crops. The on-site guests took photos and recorded their learning on video.

Dr. Li Xin, a researcher at Hunan Academy of Agricultural Sciences, explained the important role of endogenous microorganisms in the field of agriculture and the broad prospects of related preparations in the agricultural inputs market.

Professor Chen Ning, a plant nutrition expert from Qingdao Agricultural University in Shandong Province, gave an in-depth explanation of silicon fertilizer and organic fertilizer to the attending guests. Professor Chen Ning stated that with the deepening transformation of the agricultural situation, the importance of soil has become increasingly prominent. Chemical fertilizers alone are no longer sufficient to meet the demand for high-quality agricultural products in China. Therefore, the function of high-quality organic fertilizer and silicon fertilizer in improving soil and enhancing product quality is particularly prominent and important. It can be said that using these two fertilizers well is a necessary condition to keep up with the trend of the times.

At the dining and technical exchange session after the conference, participants focused on the main tropical fruit crops in Hainan, such as bananas, betel nuts, mangoes, and pineapples. Especially the betel nut growers, they had in-depth discussions with on-site agricultural experts on some key issues encountered during the planting process.
Among them, effective prevention and control of pests and diseases, as well as solutions to root rot and yellowing diseases, have become the focus of discussion. The growers expressed their concern about the problems caused by these diseases on the growth of betel nut and actively sought advice and guidance from experts.
Experts have provided a series of prevention and control measures and management suggestions to help farmers better understand and respond to these diseases. In addition, growers also expressed their willingness to try using recommended silicon fertilizer products for comparative experiments, in order to further improve the disease resistance and yield of betel nut through scientific fertilization.
This technical exchange not only provides practical solutions for betel nut growers, but also offers new ideas and methods for future planting management. The participants expressed satisfaction with this exchange and looked forward to positive results in the subsequent comparative experiments.
